About me
I am a bright, warm and compassionate registered psychologist based in Australia, who currently works with adults and couples. My focus is to offer a safe and kind space where clients feel seen and valued. I am passionate about supporting clients to explore their own healing journey through their strengths and vulnerabilities.
I have been working in research, private practice, community settings, university, coaching, hospitality and in the mental health space since 2013, both in Spain and Australia. I have also had the opportunity to work with CALD communities, refugees and asylum seekers, which told me a great lesson about humanity and kindness. I have worked as a complex case manager and I have training in the context of Family Domestic Violence.
I use a kindness and trauma informed approach with my clients integrating all my knowledge in Psychology, Coaching, Mindfulness, Well-being and Somatic movement. I use a variety of evidence-based practices such as ACT, CBT, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy, Trauma Centered and Person Centered Therapy. I am also an Aerial Yoga Teacher and have done training in Yoga for Trauma.
I thrive in working with individuals and couples in multiple areas: trauma, complex trauma, women’s health, men’s health, migration grief, neurodiversity, sexuality, self-discovery, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, burnout, grief and loss and general mental health. I work with many people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds, and I do therapy in English and Spanish.
