What to expect before a session?
Once you have booked a session with your preferred therapist, you will be sent a confirmation email and an online intake form via our software Halaxy. You will receive a reminder email 48 hours prior to your session.
If your appointment is via Telehealth, you will receive the appointment confirmation at the time of booking, and the link will be sent just prior to your session or at the session time by your therapist, please do not panic if they are 5 minutes behind.
There is ample free street parking available.
During a session
Come to our healing sanctuary in Fremantle, make yourself a cup of tea, and wait for your therapist to call you in.
Sessions will always go at the pace and depth you are willing to go to. Emotions may arise, however as long as safety and trust are present, this is all apart of the process and all emotions are accepted and welcomed.
Some sessions may be 'deeper' than others, and some are celebratory sessions. It is important to know that you are valued and respected always.
If you are aware of certain expectations you have about your session, it is encouraged to discuss this with your therapist so they can help meet them.
After session
You may feel relieved and lighter, or you may feel quite tired and heavy. It is important that you allow yourself enough space after your sessions to nurture and care for yourself. It may take some time for mind, body and soul to process each session, so we encourage self compassion.
Some people like to inform their partner, friend or relative about their session, so that they can reach out and check in after session.
