Psychologist
Jason is a psychologist who approaches therapy as a deeply human, sacred space — one that invites reflection, honesty, and courage.
Jason has a wealth of over 15 years of experience working with sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, substance misuse, addictions, existential angst, relationships, connection with self, connecting with emotions, anxiety, grief, depression, suicidality, hopelessness, trauma, life stressors, and career transitions.
Jason has a unique background working with military and emergency personnel, policing and forensic contexts, and also in women's wellbeing. The polarity of his experiences means his capacity is wide and deep — able to hold an array of life experiences.
Rooted in an existential perspective, his work centres on questions of meaning, authenticity, freedom, and belonging, rather than focusing solely on diagnosis or symptom relief. Jason helps fellow humans explore how they relate to life's uncertainties and how one might live with greater intention and self-understanding.
Jason offers a space to pause and examine what it means to live fully — to face anxiety, loss, suffering, or transition not as problems to be fixed, but as invitations to connect more deeply with oneself and the world.
Jason's approach is integrative, compassionate, and reflective, grounded in the belief that growth begins when we turn toward, rather than away from, the challenges of existence.
Jason welcomes clients aged 16 and above as individuals and couples.
"I see therapy not as fixing, but as an honest engagement with life's essential questions. There are no premeditated treatment plans, or labels prior to contact."
